Yes. I specifically replied to the .ml user for that.

Go on any .ml community and comment that maybe china isn’t the absolutely most amazing place, I dare you.

You’re afraid of some people disagreeing with you online? Post here about diffusion generated images being garbage slop and the people who use llms being immoral and and see where that gets you. Or post on world about how vegan cat food exists ;)

Yes, the existence of vegan cat food is definitely the same thing as not agreeing with genocide…

Also, it’s not “someone disagreeing”. You just straight up get banned on .ml if you say china might do something that isn’t amazing. There are entire communities about pointing out the shit thing the .ml admins do…

For starters everybody shapes narrative regardless of they are aware or not. We all have a narrative, and in that sense I agree with you.

I dont agree that controlling posts is their primary method of shaping the narrative. Rather it is the authoritative voice of being the engineers of lemmyspace. They are obviously authorities on Lemmy dotMl, but they are not authorities on other hives. However they are naturally going to bind masses to their main hive through Lemmy dotWorld and other hives that choose to align, thus making a bound hegemony through samhive.

Lemmy hives who want to distance themselves from this bound hegemony can unbind themselves to make their own samhives. But their construction will still be a construction of tankies causing a weak tanky hegemony.

Because of this, lemmyspace has a tanky shine.
