This is how the timeline gets fixed

January 2029 rolls around, they succeed, and minutes after it’s “official” he has a stroke and those people get what they deserve and Mamdani gets 8 years in the office.

    Wouldn’t that be poetic?

Convicted felons also cannot be president.

          Why did you say this?

… Because someone who was convicted of multiple felonies is currently the President of the United States of America. It was a social commentary on how things such as being a felon seem to no longer matter when disqualifying a Presidential candidate, and questioning why being a non natural born citizen would also disqualify a Presidential candidate

The “…” feels a little patronizing.

I don’t know why you’re equating feeling convictions and not being born in the US as disqualifiers for presidency. Felon status has never been a disqualifier.

              Please be nicer

I know you’re discussing what the actual laws on the books are, but I think the sentiment is that if felons aren’t allowed to vote why is it acceptable for them to run for office, especially for the highest office in the country.

Those who participated in sedition against the government can’t either, but here we are.

The laws do not matter anymore, if you don’t want them to and have the funds
