It has quite a refreshing setting for a fantasy RPG: A prison colony beneath a magical barrier that has been taken over by the prisoners. It has a seamless open world which instead of being large focuses on being dense, immersive and interesting to explore. You can join different factions and there’s quite a bit of variety in how to approach the game. NPCs all have realistic daily routines. It also has satisfying progression: You start out as an absolute loser who can barely hold a sword and gets killed in 2 hits by a rat and slowly work your way up to be a powerful warrior or mage.

Facial recognition goes beyond face tracking, by running an algorithm that identifies an individual by their facial features. It can use face tracking as one of its base technologies, yes, but not with the same goal and it generally needs different and more detailed data points than the simple face tracking you’d use for an AR feature like this one.
I’m sorry, but I’m really not sure what you’re trying to say with Andross, nor have you explained the connection to the Virtual Boy. Are you trying to spin some great conspiracy where Nintendo is monitoring us via facial recognition and has somehow been doing that since the 90s?

That’s not facial recognition, it’s face tracking. And it is a chat feature. What exactly is supposed to be the problem here? Also I’m not sure why you linked the Virtual Boy, which didn’t have a camera, face tracking or even a chat.

I was about to recommend this too. Probably the closest thing to Elder Scrolls that isn’t actually Elder Scrolls or a mod. Excellent game, and quite an impressive achievement considering it’s an indie developer with nowhere near the budget of a Bethesda game.
Pretty sure it’s just a ragebait account anyway. 5 days old and 90% of posts/comments are about how they hate Linux and love AI.

That definitely makes sense.

I can’t help you with finding those votes, but as someone who’s gotten similar bans 3 times now: You’ve probably just downvoted a couple posts by a mod and they got annoyed. That’s how it’s been every time for me, a low single-digit number of downvotes was enough to be a “serial downvoter”. Ultimately, I’d ask myself whether it’s even worth it to appeal those bans. Do you really want to participate in a community run by mods who do that kind of thing?

Never heard of the other one, but Saily is one of those brands that gets pushed by sponsored Youtubers so much that it automatically makes me suspicious. Basically, this comic.

Seems like a major hassle for the builder to have to lug home 50 sacks of grain, which they’ll then have to try and barter for something else. If only we had an abstract representation of value that’s portable and universally accepted…

There’s a reason that pretty much every complex society moved away from it: it doesn’t scale. It works fine enough for a small tribe that produces basic things like food and clothing. It doesn’t work for an industrialized society of millions of people where production of things like electronics requires hundreds of different resources and production steps.
Subtitled, unless I watch it with family members who all prefer dubbed. I actually rewatched Frieren recently, this time with the German dub, and was surprised at how good it is (even if the German character/place names become even weirder in that version).
I think this is pretty key. If the topic ever does come up and OP will use that line, it might not go over so well. Showing disinterest in politics may be a good survival tactic in Russia, but in the West many people will understand it as not wanting to publicly admit your support of Putin.
But why did you have to rebind that particular key combination, when you could have just rebound the regular “move forward” key (W) or added a secondary binding? The result would have been the same. It seems like an odd hill to die on to me, but you do you.
True, you can do that, but that’s an optional secondary movement style. Would be odd to drop the game over something you don’t have to use.
When has that ever protected immigrants from attack/scrutiny?
A few times, I’d argue. Citizenship does come with protections you don’t have as an immigrant, like the state not being able to deport you or decide not to renew your visa.
You only pay the taxes that apply to you. You don’t pay all the taxes.
I don’t think you remember correctly. It uses regular WASD movement and has been using that since launch.
Can’t wait! Looks like Kodan will be a playable race?
Which countries have beaten egoism?
