well, i guess if they stop them from being monopoly it lowers the risk of valve going bad. if they went bad it would be a nightmare scenario for games. At the very least for me since proton is only way i can even play stuff easily on linux.

Original voices are always best and with subtitles one can always just read what is being said. I prefer to watch even english stuff subtitled because sometimes its really hard to even hear what people are saying and sometimes there are stuff you cant even know without the subtitles, like if someone speaks some other language or sign language.

Though dragonball z is odd exception, that is where i like dubbed voices better. Maybe its because its how i watched it first when i was kid.

you can set permanent rules. Its very much active protection as in you have to actively fiddle with it when going to new sites, which also makes you more aware how much stuff they are running. So many sites load like 20 different things but need only 1 or 2 to function flawlessly.

Imo, it would be scary to browse without noscript, even with ublock on. For me its kind of like first line of defence, with ublock I can pretty safely test out what is needed for website to work and what isnt without worrying too much. Everything being blocked by default makes it more safe and if some website turns out to be really bad, i can set it as untrusted so i remember it later too if it appears again or if i go there again because i forgot.

And if I get really annoyed with fiddling with some website i want to work and which doesnt seem that threatening, i just set it temporarily all allowed.

i can’t play any instrument at all and dont have extra money to throw on something that i’ll drop soon anyway. with sunvox i can at least sidestep it since all you need is ear for notes and rythm. My main problem is that i just dont get ideas about what to do. I already have tons of samples and instruments as files, so at least i dont have to create those from 0.
