To many foreigners, ranch dressing is an iconic cultural export of the US that oddly hasn’t physically exported. Ketchup, yes. Ranch, no.

Not so ‘iconic to many foreigners’ if they don’t buy it.
It has been exported, why wouldn’t they?
It’s simply not popular so there is no demand.

Mayo… Mayo is the most disgusting thing ever.

I’ve seen kids eat fistfuls of ketchup or mustard or butter… But never mayo.

There’s a reason that old ass yogurt is used to kill lice and is always mixed with something else in order to be on a sandwich.

Interesting. My friend owns a restaurant and they go through 10 gallons of ranch a week. It’s disgusting. I don’t get it. But I guess…it’s a thing?

People that go to the banana republic probably can’t be accused of having taste.
They’re on the level of Dubai tourists

So I mostly agree, and the US drowns way to much of everything in it. Like why ruin perfectly good salad or vegetables with that as a dressing or a dip.

But, there is a chicken wing chain in Canada where they do a crazy amount of wild sauces. My favourite is breaded with a side sauce that is made of mostly hot sauce, grated parmesan and a drizzle of ranch. It’s pretty damned good. For this reason alone, i buy one bottle of ranch a year and throw away half.

Hey! Stop putting ranch in your carry-ons! That ranch belongs in your checked bags only unless it’s under 3.5 ozs, or about 13.5 sucks worth. You’re allowed to suckle, but only a little bit.

Ranch goes really well with some things, most notable IMO is raw vegetables and deep fried things. I could eat way too many deep fried zucchini dipped in ranch.

People who put it on everything are weird tho its not that good.
