Me? I’d mind my own fuckin business.

dude, moving is hell. literally it’s one of the most stressful things humans do. I fucking hate moving. The last thing you need is some karen screaming about a temporary blocked patch of sidewalk when you’re literally unloading the truck.

edit: I’d add - perhaps going over and saying “hey let me help you unload this trailer so we can get the truck off the sidewalk faster!” would be a much better option than damn near anything else, it’s a great way to meet and welcome your new neighbors.

let them get established before you pick out the reasons to hate them.

You definitely shouldn’t accidentally spill saltwater on it, the higher the salinity the better, that will be a bad idea

You also definitely shouldn’t put bird seed on it either

The dude is unloading stuff. It’s one of those cases where the guy may not be insensitive, but simply trying his best and there’s no other choice.

When I had trees felled on my property, a big truck came to pick up the branches and blocked the street for an hour because there was no other choice. I apologized to the neighbors who had to go around.

If the guy leaves immediately after unloading his trailer, or puts the trailer brakes on, unhitches and goes park someplace else, I’d say let it slide. If he stays there overnight, call the cops. You just can’t tell what’s going on in a still photo.

He’s still attached to the trailer. It’s not a huge trailer. By the time he unhooks it and re-hooks it, he could be done unloading. At least he’s courteous enough not to park perpendicularly across the road. It looks like he’s being as courteous as possible. Probably because he knows Karen is taking a photo right now to post on Lemmy.
