So he exposed innocent people to SWAT teams, and also ratted out his buddies. What a sterling example of humanity. Enjoy those prison showers.

in one, posted in December 2025, police enter the room and tell him, “You’re getting swatted again.”

Here’s an idea, how about fucking don’t then

/sigh it’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation.

The first time, a heavy response makes sense on their part. They’ve been told an extreme situation is going on. After that, it makes sense to be chill about it, but you can’t just ignore the claim. At the very least you have to check things out.

Imagine the backlash if a streamer legitimately did kidnap someone and they got loose and called the cops, but the cops were like “lol another swatting incident let’s ignore it.”

I’m generally not one for over-punishing, but I feel like swatting be heavily punished, like ten years on a roadside chain-gang punished. These little shits should have to give away a chunk of their freedom for trying to kill someone in this way.

They should get the same punishment as someone would for attempted murder. Because essentially that’s what they’re doing.

10 years for attempted premeditated murder? Let’s rethink those numbers?

Mayyyyybe the problem is that there even is swatting. As in, why is there such a violent institution. Have you guys over there considered that?

I truly wonder if they realise that in otger counties, you are not one phone call away from being swatted by the gestapo for no reason. The price of freedom i guess.

How many have died from swatting outside of the US? None of the linked examples seems to involve armed police just running wild shooting anything that moves as in those US examples.

I read a few of those an people didn:t seem to have been killed, am i misunderstanding something? Maybe i was using swatting the wrong way, i kind of connected it to where violence was used as a result of a blind report.

I understood it as swatting in general if somebody made a false accusation and the police raided somebody. Doesnt need to be physical harm involved.

Police knocks on the door and ask if everything is alright? -> not (successful) swatting

Police breaks down your door and stands in your living room but then leaves after realising you are not a bloodthirsty kidnapper -> swatting

Police kills an innocent due to swatting -> swatting in USA

    https://www.pcgamer.com/police-kill-kansas-man-while-responding-to-an-alleged-swatting/

28-year-old Andrew Finch of Wichita, Kansas, was killed last night by police in what appears to have been an incident of “swatting.” Deputy police chief Troy Livingston told the Wichita Eagle that police were responding to a report of a murder and hostage situation at Finch’s home when he came to the front door and was shot.

USA… when showing up at your door can make you killed by the police…

I know, that’s why I stay where I was born at and make life work regardless of how shitty it is, and don’t blame others for things they can’t control like being born into generational poverty in a country they can’t ever afford to get out of.

There’s another old South Park where the adults are wasted at a meteor watching party. The cops show up because they think it’s a suicide cult and start shooting people leaving the party.
